High Protein Egg Recipes

In eggs, you can find naturally high content of quality proteins. They even contain all 9 essential amino acids. Yet, did you know that egg yolks contain approximately the same amount of proteins as egg whites? Besides, egg yolks contain important nutrients that you shouldn’t leave out from your diet. And that’s why I like to use them in my fit recipes. Fitness egg recipes are characterized by a high protein content and they usually have lower carbohydrate and calorie content.

If you’ve thought that heat will cause nutrients and usable proteins disappear in eggs, I’ve got to tell you, it’s not true. Studies have shown that proteins gained from heat processed eggs are even easier to digest in comparison to raw eggs. Interesting, right?

Thanks to the macronutrient ratio, eggs are a relatively low calorie ingredient and a balanced source of important nutrients.
