Legumes - healthy recipes with chickpeas, lentils, peas and beans

Try my healthy legume recipes. You will find here fit recipes made from lentils, chickpeas, beans or peas that you can prepare quickly and easily. And you only need a few ingredients to make them. Legumes are filling, as they contain high amounts of proteins, fiber, and complex carbohydrates. I definitely recommend including legumes in your diet at least five times a week.

Red lentils are perfect for soups or stews. You can prepare them very quickly, as red lentils do not have a skin and cook within a few minutes. Cooking brown lentils takes a little longer, but it is also a perfect ingredient for soups and stews. Moreover, red beans, mung beans, or chickpeas are suitable for both salty and sweet recipes which you can also find here.

Recipes with chickpeas are one of my most favorite recipes. I recommend trying out my favorite chickpea curry. Lentil recipes are also among my favorite meals, try for example healthy lentil dhal.
