Legumes - healthy recipes with chickpeas, lentils, peas and beans

Try my healthy legume recipes. Here you find fit recipes from lentils, chickpeas, beans or peas that you can prepare quickly and easily. Good message is that only few ingredients are needed. Legume foods are filling, contain proteins, fiber, and complex carbohydrates. I definitely recommend including legume in your diet at least a five times a week.

Red lentils are perfect for soups or stews. You can prepare it very quickly, as lentils do not have a skin and boil within a few minutes. Cooking brown lentils take longer time, but it is also perfect for soups and stews. Moreover, classic beans, mung beans, or chickpeas are suitable for both salty and sweet recipes which you can also find here.

Recipes with chickpeas are one of my the most popular recipes. I recommend trying my favorite one - chickpea curry. Lentil recipes are also among my favorite recipes, for example try healthy lentil dhal.
