Healthy Coconut-Apple Porridge (Sugar-Free and Gluten-Free)

Simple coconut-apple porridge without sugar or gluten, that is ideal to serve as a healthy breakfast. You can serve it cold or hot to warm yourself up. Don't be afraid of the combination of apple and coconut and try this healthy porridge without gluten and oats. It is an interesting variation for the classic breakfast porridge.

The sweet coconut makes up the thick consistency of this porridge and it fits great together with the apple. This porridge is rich in fiber and healthy fats thanks to coconut. It makes the porridge sufficiently satiating and nutrient-dense. The egg white makes this recipe a great source of protein. You can also mix in a scoop of protein powder into the porridge at the end, thanks to which you will increase the protein content even more. You can also improve the porridge with chia seeds or poppy seeds for example, there are no limits to your imagination.

  1. Finely grate the apple.
  2. In a small pot, mix shredded coconut with milk, apple puree and a pinch of cinnamon.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the egg white and grated apple into it and mix until thickened.
  4. The porridge can be sprinkled with nuts, dried fruit, or more coconut.
  5. The porridge can be served cold or hot.
