Baked Fruit on a Blanket

Tasty breakfast or dessert full of protein made of only three ingredients. This baked fruit on a blanket of whipped eggs is great, if you desire something sweet, but you don't have a lot of things on hand. You only need fruit, whether fresh or frozen, eggs and cinnamon for this fit recipe. You can enjoy it anytime during the day, as it contains only a few calories.

Try this simple but tasty delicacy :)

You can use fruit to your taste. Not only berries, raspberries, cherries but also mango, apple or plums are suitable. Practically you can try and create blankets with different combinations and always create a new dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh/frozen fruit (berries or mango, apple..)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Put the fruit into a smaller pot and while stirring, boil it for about 5 minutes.
  2. After 5 minutes, move the fruit together with the juice into a smaller sealing bowl.
  3. Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
  4. In one bowl, whip the egg whites and in another bowl, whip the yolks with cinnamon.
  5. Next, gently mix the yolks into whipped egg whites, and pour it on the fruit in the baking bowl.
  6. Bake 10-15 minutes at 205 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit) until golden.
