Cinnamon Sweet Potato Fries with Vanilla Cream
Amazingly crunchy cinnamon sweet potato fries in a sweet way, for all lovers of healthy desserts and snacks, and last but not least for cinnamon lovers too. In combination with this vanilla cream, you will love them for sure.
In addition, 1 medium-sized sweet potato gives you more than 400% of daily dose of vitamin A, 37% of daily dose of vitamin C, and 15% of daily dose of fiber and vitamin B-6. It is also rich in fiber and helps to regulate the digestion. On the other hand, 1 medium batata contains only a bit over 100 kcal. Thanks to the fact that the sweet potato fries are wrapped in starch or tapioca flour before baking, they will be irritably crunchy after baking. I recommend to prepare vanilla cream with protein powder, preferably vanilla flavor, so you can conjure even more valuable and more filling meal. Greek yoghurt will also play an important role in the cream, because thanks to it we will get 26 g of protein per serving. Such a nutritional values will not only please fitness enthusiasts and athletes, but also those who are on their way to their dream body.
These sweet potato fries are not only great as healthy dessert or snack, they are easy to carry, and therefore also excellent as morning or afternoon snack to school or work. If you add tablespoon of maple syrup and vanilla seeds into the cream, you certainly won't resist ;)
- If you don't want to use protein powder in the recipe, use a little more vanilla extract and sweeten the cream to your taste.

- 2 medium-sized sweet potatoes
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon (I recommend this one)
- 1 tsp starch (or tapioca flour)

- 250g (8.8 oz) Greek yoghurt
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder*
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup / honey (I recommend this one)
- 1 vanilla pod (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)
Instructions
- Peel the potatoes and cut into thin fries.
- Then wrap the fries in teaspoon of starch mixed with cinnamon.
- If desired, you can also add a pinch of stevia powder.
- Place the fries on a sheet lined with parchment paper. They should have a little space between them so they can bake thoroughly.
