Green "Vitamin C" Smoothie

Green "Vitamin C" Smoothie

Green smoothie - loved by many people, but not such a popular healthy drink for the other ones. I don't know why it really is, but I feel that those who haven't fallen for smoothie yet, haven't been fortunate enough about the delicious combination of ingredients or possibly its consistency. Because if you discover the charm of the smoothie and find out which ingredients fit together and create a harmony of flavors, I am sure you will fall in love with it. This green "Vitamin C" smoothie is a good proof that healthy fruits and vegetables can be combined into a tasty smoothie to get a high dose of vitamins and minerals without having to eat quantum of these vegetables and fruits in the raw state.

This green "Vitamin C" smoothie is refreshing, sour and perfectly suited for any time of a year. I prefer to enjoy this smoothie as breakfast or as a refreshing and nourishing drink between meals, that will also fill me up.

If you like the taste of grapefruit and ginger, you will love this healthy smoothie for sure. Plus, one serving of this smoothie contains more than the daily recommended amount of the vitamin C! That’s why it’s perfect when you’re sick or when you need a boost of vitamins. I add ice into the smoothie for more favorable consistency, but if you do not want to use it, you can either replace it with water or even frozen pineapple. To increase the nutritional value of this smoothie, you can also add chia seeds, ground flaxseed, or other seeds.

Prepare this delicious vitamin bomb in the form of a smoothie and start your day in a healthy way.
