Healthy Apple-Walnut Gingerbread

Tasty and healthy apple-walnut flourless gingerbread, which is cut out for a weekend breakfast. Only a few common ingredients are enough to make it. If you want to make this delicious cake even better, add chopped nuts to it. Apple-walnut gingerbread will charm you with the aroma, consistency and delicious flavor.

Gingerbread spice mix and apples are a wonderful combination. Not only are they scent together beautifully, but they recall the warmth of home during a chilly autumn evenings or long winter evenings with their taste. Walnuts are another autumn fruits, that's why this dessert is suits especially well for last months of the year, when these ingredients have the season.

Gingerbread is gluten-free, unassuming for ingredients and finished in a minute. Just stir all the ingredients together, so the preparation is especially easy. You will only need a powerful blender (I recommend this one) to grind the walnuts and oats. You can serve it alone or poured with nut butter or with this peanut butter: .

  1. Grate the apple finely and stir it (also with juice) together with eggs and cane sugar in a bowl.
  2. Grind walnuts and oats almost into flour and stir it with prepared mixture.
  3. Finally, add sodium bicarbonate and gingerbread spice mix to the dough.
  4. Pour the finished dough into the mold lined with parchment paper (about 30*20cm (12*8)) and bake for 30 minutes at 175 degrees Celsius (347 degrees Fahrenheit) until golden.
  5. After baking, let the gingerbread cool down and later cut it into cubes.
