Healthy Chocolate Banana Pudding
Do you like the taste of bananas and chocolate? If so, you will get to love this healthy chocolate banana pudding recipe full of fiber, vitamins and minerals for sure! You can enjoy it, for example, as a healthy breakfast or serve it as a healthy dessert. Oh, and don't worry, nobody will notice the avocado inside ;) We make this recipe very often at home and I believe you will love it too.
Healthy chocolate banana pudding is extremely easy and quick to prepare, you can serve it in just 10 minutes. You will only need 5 healthy ingredients - avocados, plain yogurt, cocoa, banana and honey. I recommend using low fat plain Greek yogurt for its creamy consistency and higher protein and calcium content. Regarding avocado, the best you can do is to choose the Hass variety for this recipe (that's the smaller one with a dark peel), which is more creamy and tasty. Honey can be replaced with xylitol, stevia or maple syrup.
You can also prepare this dessert without a banana, in which case I call it a chocolate mousse or avocado-chocolate cream. Alternatively, you can replace the banana with strawberries or raspberries that go well with this chocolate cream. This healthy avocado-chocolate cream can also be used as a tasty and healthy cake frosting.
